Fresh off securing Australia’s first SAIL III drone certification, Carbonix CEO and Founder Dario Valenza joined Trent Nikolic on 2GB’s Mornings (filling in for Mark Levy) on 6 July to unpack what the milestone means for the future of autonomous aviation in Australia.
“As the first drone company to achieve this certification, it’s an important step forward for the industry. We are now working towards scaling drone operations for missions such as critical infrastructure surveying and other ‘eye in the sky’ applications” Dario said on air.
By combining long endurance, autonomy, and advanced sensing capabilities, Carbonix’s long-range drones continuously scan large areas and critical assets — helping transform how safety, monitoring, and surveying operations are carried in Australia and beyond.
