Biography

Marin is a skilled flight testing engineer with a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, with a Space Engineering major and first-class honours, from the University of Sydney.

Marin’s passion for engineering and practical problem-solving led him to work part-time as a design engineer for an Australian space startup while finishing his honours year at university.

After completing his studies, Marin joined Carbonix as a flight testing engineer. He enjoys the hands-on and practical work involved in flight testing, as well as the opportunity to travel and be outdoors. Marin’s role at Carbonix involves testing and analysing the performance of UAV systems to ensure that they meet the company’s high standards for quality and reliability.

When not at work, Marin enjoys a variety of outdoor hobbies, including freediving, 4-wheel driving, and camping. He also enjoys practising leathercraft, knife making and other crafts, honing their skills in creating handmade leather goods and custom blades.

Marin takes great pride in his work and is committed to ensuring that every system he tests meets the highest standards of safety and reliability. He is always eager to take on new challenges and find innovative solutions to complex problems.
