James is a seasoned sailmaker with a background in the maritime industry. Beginning as a shipwright, he swiftly transitioned into sailmaking, where he has excelled for the past two decades. Renowned for his craftsmanship, James has crafted sails for a diverse range of boats, including the likes of Comanche, Black Jack, and Wild Oats, winners of the prestigious Sydney to Hobart race.

Throughout his career, he managed multi sail making teams at the top lofts in the country.  James’ passion for sailing extends beyond his profession, as he has competed in various boat classes and offshore races, including the Sydney to Hobart. When he isn’t on the water, James enjoys spending time with his family, indulging in activities such as golf, soccer, and camping.
