Chris’s aviation journey started from a young age when he was introduced to model aircraft and quickly turned into an aviation obsession. Chris ended up representing Australian model aircraft at several international aerobatic events as well as many airshows.
He then began to pursue his full size commercial aviation career – beginning in a regional airline he spent several years as a first officer before making his way up the ranks as a turbo-prop captain, connecting many remote parts of Australia to the capital cities. After many years and several thousand hours Chris found himself in the right hand seat of a Boeing 737.
Along the way to commercial aviation, Chris also gained some experience building and operating remotely piloted aircraft which quickly became a second passion.
In his spare time Chris is currently studying a Diploma of Software development and enjoys several outdoor hobbies including kite surfing and mountain biking.
