Angus is Principal Systems Engineer at Carbonix, managing the technical and systems integration aspects of product development. He works on requirements management and the risk profile of the aircraft as well as introducing new capability.
Angus has over 20 years of experience in the aerospace and medical devices fields, working on widely varied aerospace projects such as: F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, C-Series and A350XWB airliners, C-130J Hercules, C-27J Spartan and A400M cargo lifters, S-70 Seahawk and CH-53K helicopters.
In the medical space, he has worked on total hip replacement surgical guides, oxygen concentration devices, CPAP and life support ventilators to name but a few.
Additionally, he holds several patents for novel oxygen concentration technologies. He brings a keen understanding of cross-functional team integration and adaptive problem solving to the team and is passionate about realising the best quality drone product with market leading technology.
When not working he enjoys fly-fishing, clockmaking, learning Japanese and way too many other hobbies to list.
