Biography

Andrew’s experience reaches far and wide: Having achieved his Aerospace Engineering Degree from Sheffield Hallam University, Andrew worked as a graduate Aerospace Engineer for the Ministry of Defence DESG Graduate Scheme.

He gained practical and technical exposure to several aerospace organisations, working his way to fast-track management experience at Airbus and GKN. Andrew also contributed to iconic aerospace projects including the Eurofighter Typhoon, BAE Systems UAS platform for FCAS (Future Combat Air Systems) as well as A320 and A350 technology plateau at Airbus UK.

Andrew is practically an honorary Australian: Last year he took a career break and challenged himself to drive around the country from the Centre to Darwin, to Esperance, to Melbourne, and to Sydney, covering over 15,000 Km. Along the way he worked on a beef cattle station in Alice Springs and a sheep and broad-acre farm in Esperance. 

Andrew’s passions are photography, fishing and music. He also enjoys cooking.
