Katana V2 is built in one piece using the highest grade prepreg carbon/epoxy composites. The fin features ultra-high-modulus fibres for maximum stiffness. Fittings such as the interchangeable mast partners and mainsheet fairlead are custom machined in PTFE, aluminium, and titanium. The bulb is machined in bronze for accuracy – giving a hard, polished outer surface.
Boats come with the bow bumper, fin fastener, rudder assembly, and all deck fittings installed.
Swing rig sets and custom carry boxes are also available separately.

Please scroll down this page to read about the development history of our Marblehead Class RC yachts. This will give you an insight into the long evolution that helped shape the current design. Performance so far in competition shows great promise. The moderately narrow, finely balanced shape proving close-winded, easily driven, and capable of being pushed hard. Piercing bow and raised deck make the boat uniquely efficient aerodynamically and aesthetically distinctive.
The pictures of the rigged boat with pink deck patches are by launch customer Ray Joyce.
